Finally updating a few projects I've worked on recently.  These two chickens were a painted on my 4-H leaders new chicken coop.  I couldn't quite back far enough to get them both in the photo, as there is an adjacent shed, so I got a close up of each....
I painted these two with sample size house paint.  Unfortunately the size only comes in interior paint which is still the most cost effective.   If you are working on small projects as I tend too.  There is a clear coat Rustolium product which can be sprayed over the painting once they have completely dried, it comes in flat or gloss.

This Octopus painting was a warmup project after a few months hiatus while I worked the summer months at a local nursery.   It is probably the most thickly painted canvas I have to date because I kept changing my mind on color and tone.  Rather than planning this one out I wanted it to simply be spontaneous and enjoyable so I was a little loose with the choices I made.
I wanted this piece to be a bit darker too really contrast the lighter colored walls in most homes,  but at the same time I didn't want it to be so dark details are lost or the colors become murky....Well after a much back and forth this painting finally decided it was complete; and I quite like it actually,  it is up for sale $350 Acrylic, without frame..... On that note really all of the posted paintings are either sold or are for sale. unless they are painted on someones chicken coop of course ....
This woman is up here though she is not nearly complete she is actually second in line to be  completed I wanted to play around with something outside of my usual theme...
Currently my biggest project at the moment and moving at a snails pace, Ive finished more but this is my most recent photo of this 30x40 canvas there will be updates on this one..... its taking me quite a bit of time....
